Patriots' Jake Bailey: Inks four-year deal
Bailey signed a four-year, $13.5 million contract with the Patriots on Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Bailey's new contract will tie him to New England through the 2025 season, thus replacing the final year of his rookie deal for the 2022 campaign. The 2020 All-Pro, who also handles holding duties for the Patriots, averaged the eighth-highest yards per punt (47.3) in the league last season. Despite rookie punter J.J. Julien's presence on New England's current offseason roster, this contract likely locks Bailey in as the team's starting punter for the foreseeable future.

Patriots' Myles Bryant: Able to practice
Bryant (undisclosed) is practicing Monday, indicating that he has been removed from the active/non-football injury list, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
The nature of Bryant's injury wasn't revealed, but it evidently wasn't anything major. He's expected to earn a roster spot in 2022 and reprise his depth cornerback role from the previous season.

Patriots' Jonathan Jones: Removed from PUP list
Jones (shoulder) is practicing Monday, indicating that he has been removed from the active/PUP list, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
Jones appears to be fully recovered from October shoulder surgery. He missed less than two weeks of training camp before gaining clearance to practice.

Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Comes off PUP list
Peppers (knee) is practicing Monday, indicating that he has been removed from the active/PUP list, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Peppers is recovering from ACL surgery, so taking the filed in practice is a major step in the right direction for the safety. He should provide depth in New England's secondary, but Peppers is unlikely to unseat starters Kyle Dugger or Devin McCourty.

Patriots' Josh Hammond: Signs with Pats
The Patriots picked up Hammond on Friday,
Hammond signed with the Jaguars in 2020 as an undrafted free agent. He subsequently spent the majority of the last two seasons on their practice squad, but did get elevated to the active roster for the two games in 2021. He will now look to make an impression in New England.

Patriots' David Andrews: Back at practice
Andrews (shoulder) was spotted in uniform during Friday's training camp practice, indicating that the Patriots have removed him from the active/PUP list, Evan Lazar of the CLNS Media Network reports.
Andrews underwent offseason shoulder surgery and was added to the PUP list to start training camp, but it appears that the undrafted center out of Georgia will be healthy to begin the regular season. The 30-year-old started all 17 games for New England last season and is expected to once again lead the Patriots' offensive line in 2022.

Patriots' Jake Bailey: Comes off NFI list
Bailey (undisclosed) was spotted at Friday's practice, indicating that he has been removed from the active/non-football illness list, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
Bailey has recovered from the illness that sidelined him for a few days in training camp. The 2019 fifth-round pick is expected to serve as the Patriots' punter for a fourth consecutive season in 2022.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Good to go for training camp
Henry, who was limited some during last month's minicamp due to an undisclosed injury, has been participating in training camp, Paul Perillo of the Patriots' official site reports.
As the 2022 campaign approaches, Henry --- who finished last season with 50 catches (on 75 targets) for 603 yards and a career-high nine TDs in 17 games -- is once in line to work in tandem with fellow tight end Jonnu Smith, a context that caps Henry's volume when both are available. That said, Henry's nose for the end zone should allow him to remain a startable weekly fantasy option in most formats, so long as the 27-year-old avoids injury issues as he did during his first year with the Patriots.

Patriots' Dalton Keene: Back to full participation
Keene practiced primarily with the scout-team offense during New England's 11-on-11 team periods Thursday, Andrew Callahan of The Boston Herald reports.
Keene's participation in padded team drills Thursday seems to suggest he's fully recovered from an undisclosed injury, which kept him limited during voluntary OTAs and mandatory minicamp earlier this offseason. The tight end also worked with the team's kick coverage unit, which could prove valuable in ensuring his spot on the team's final roster heading into the regular season. Keene will compete with fellow 2020 third-round pick Devin Asiasi for the Patriots' No. 3 tight-end spot.

Patriots' Pierre Strong: Limited at practice
Strong has been limited by an undisclosed injury early on in training camp, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Given that he's able to participate in some capacity, it appears as though Strong's issue isn't anything major, but the sooner the 2022 fourth-rounder can get up to speed the better, with veteran change-of-pace back James White (hip) on the active/PUP list. If White isn't ready for the start of the coming season, Strong is a candidate to carve out a third-down role out of the gate, though second-year power back Rhamondre Stevenson also could see some added opportunities in the passing game in that scenario.

Patriots' Marcus Jones: Working at punt returner
Jones rotated in as one of four punt returners during practice Wednesday after going through mandatory minicamp in a limited capacity, Paul Perillo of the team's official site reports.
Jones wore a non-contact jersey during June's minicamp periods, but he appears to be healthy once again. The rookie third-round pick figures to compete with Jonathan Jones and Terrance Mitchell for a backup role at cornerback this coming season; however, Jones could also establish a consistent role as the Patriots' punt returner.

Patriots' Henry Anderson: Practicing again in training camp
Anderson was seen practicing again for the first time Thursday after being placed on season-ending injured reserve last October, Andrew Callahan of The Boston Herald reports.
Anderson missed the final 13 games of the regular season with a pectoral injury after joining New England on a two-year, $7 million contract last offseason. The 30-year-old defensive end primarily worked with the second-string defense Thursday, but he also filled in along the starting defensive line with Deatrich Wise absent for unknown reasons.
