  • Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Coach downplays absence

Coach Nathaniel Hackett isn't concerned about Dulcich's (hamstring) absence from training camp, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

The Broncos are taking it easy with their rookie third-round pick, and Hackett pointed out that there's still plenty of time for Dulcich to get up to speed before the regular season. Once healthy, Dulcich is expected to compete with Albert Okwuegbunam for playing time at tight end.

  • Broncos' KJ Hamler: Activated from PUP list

Hamler (knee) has passed his physical and has been cleared to return to practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

With that, the wideout -- who suffered season-ending ACL and hip injuries Week 3 of the 2021 season -- has come off the active/PUP list and will now look to cement his role in a Denver wide receiver corps that is led by Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick. In that context, the team can afford to work Hamler back into the mix, but if injuries hit any of the top trio, the speedy 2020 second-rounder's ability to stretch the field could be an asset to the Broncos offense, which now is helmed by QB Russell Wilson.

  • Broncos' KJ Hamler: To come off PUP list

The Broncos are expected to activate Hamler (knee) from the active/PUP list Monday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Hamler reportedly is recovering well from a torn left ACL suffered last September, and the Broncos are hopeful his impressive speed won't have diminished. Though the trio of Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick appear entrenched atop Denver's wide receiver depth chart, Hamler boasts a skill set that could allow him to thrive as the No. 4 option for new franchise quarterback Russell Wilson.

  • Broncos' K'Waun Williams: MRI shows little knee damage

An MRI undergone Saturday revealed no structural damage in Williams' injured knee, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Williams suffered a minor non-contact injury during the Broncos' practice Saturday and he ultimately figures to miss only a few days, according to Klis. This is a good sign for the recently signed cornerback, who is expected to step into a starting role at slot cornerback after joining Denver on a two-year, $7 million contract this offseason.

  • Broncos' K'Waun Williams: Set to undergo MRI

Williams will get an MRI on his knee, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Williams pulled up while running in coverage with an apparent non-contact injury during Saturday's practice. The cornerback was then evaluated by members of the Broncos' training staff, but he was able to walk to the locker room under his own power later on. If Williams is forced to miss time during training camp due to a potential injury, then backups Damarri Mathis and Blessuan Austin should see more reps in coverage as a result.

  • Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Dealing with hamstring injury

Dulcich (hamstring) will be worked back into practice slowly as he nurses an offseason hamstring injury, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Coach Nathaniel Hackett said of Dulcich's injury Wednesday, "We want to make sure he can get a certain amount of work. That's why he's just going to be on the side a little bit, and we'll slowly work him back in." It's clear the team is exercising caution with the tight end as he gets back to full strength. Denver's coaching staff seems ready to allow Dulcich to compete for top billing at the position with holdover Albert Okwuegbunam. Once the rookie is fully healthy, his athleticism and ability to stretch the field could lead to his emergence as the starter.

  • Broncos' Christopher Allen: Passes physical

Allen (foot) will be removed from the non-football injury list after passing his physical Friday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Allen's stay on the NFI list didn't last long, and he has been cleared to practice with his teammates. The rookie has undergone a long recovery process to get over this foot injury, which sidelined Allen for the entire 2021 season at Alabama.

  • Broncos' Seth Williams: Back at practice

Williams was an active participant during Denver's opening day of training camp Wednesday, The Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

Williams missed time during the Broncos' minicamp in June for undisclosed reasons. The wideout spent the majority of his 2021 rookie campaign on Denver's practice squad, and he figures to compete with Kendall Hinton, Montrell Washington and Travis Fulgham for the team's final receiver spot during training camp.

  • Broncos' Eric Tomlinson: Back for start of training camp

Tomlinson participated in Denver's opening practice of training camp Wednesday, The Colorado Springs Gazette reports.

Tomlinson was inactive while wearing a walking boot on his left during the Broncos' minicamp in June, but he appears to be back and healthy in training camp. The 30-year-old caught his lone target for seven yards over 17 games with Baltimore last season, and he figures to serve in a depth/blocking role with Denver this coming campaign.

  • Broncos' Tom Compton: Recovering from surgery

Compton (back) underwent a procedure on his back earlier this year and will begin training camp on the active/PUP list, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

There's no timetable for Compton's return to action at this point. Denver signed the 33-year-old journeyman to provide some depth along their offensive line in 2022, but he could see an expanded role in camp if he gets back onto the practice field before fellow tackle Billy Turner (knee).

  • Broncos' Tyrie Cleveland: Participating in camp

Cleveland was present at practice and stretching Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Cleveland suffered an ankle injury at Broncos minicamp in June, but it appears he's put that injury behind him at this point. He'll have to compete to make the roster in a crowded Denver wide receivers room, and it doesn't help his case that the team added Montrell Washington in the fifth round of this year's draft and Travis Fulgham this offseason.
