Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Hurts leg in practice
Calcaterra suffered a leg injury in practice Saturday, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.
The severity of Calcaterra's injury is unclear, but it will keep him out of practice Monday at minimum. Once cleared to return, the rookie sixth-round pick will attempt to carve out a depth role on Philadelphia's tight end depth chart.

Eagles' Zach Pascal: No timetable for return
Coach Nick Sirianni said Monday that Pascal (illness) does not have a return timetable, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Pascal is dealing with a stomach illness, one which has prevented him from participating in training camp yet. If Pascal is unable to get back on the field in the near future and begin establishing a rapport with Jalen Hurts, it could lower his chances of earning a notable depth role in Philadelphia's wide receiver corps, which is headlined by A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Eagles' Miles Sanders: Starting role remains safe
Sanders' role as the Eagles' top running back this season remains safe despite reports that he spent time with the second unit in practice Friday, Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Sanders reportedly spent nearly all of his time in Friday's practice with the second-team offense, but head coach Nick Sirianni cautioned against reading anything into that, stating, "Miles is our guy." The Eagles rotate Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott throughout practice, but if Sanders' first-team reps were down Friday, that was merely a coincidence. Expect Sanders to be treated as the lead back heading into the year.

Eagles' Zach Pascal: Dealing with illness
Pascal is not practicing Saturday due to an illness, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Pascal has been sidelined due to an illness since Wednesday, per EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer, but the Eagles' practice report indicates that the wideout is not dealing with COVID. The 27-year-old wideout is competing for a depth gig in Philadelphia's wide receiver corps, so it would benefit him to return to training camp as soon as possible.

Eagles' Miles Sanders: Sees second-team work
Zach Berman of The Athletic relays that Sanders worked with the Eagles' second-team offense Friday.
That said, Berman notes that he expects Sanders -- who he says "looks healthy and explosive" at practice -- to be the team's lead back this season, adding that "it's atypical to see Sanders with the second unit." On Friday though, it was Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott who ran with the first team. Subsequent practices will reveal whether Sanders moves back to logging top-unit reps in short order, but for now this is a situation to monitor.

Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Working with second team
Reagor is working with the second-team offense in camp, Bo Wulf of The Athletic Philadelphia reports.
Reagor was selected in the first round of the 2020 draft but failed to impress in his first two professional seasons, averaging 32 catches for 347.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns. He'll have a tough time matching even that modest level of production this season thanks to the Eagles' acquisition of A.J. Brown, which pushed Reagor further down the depth chart. His best shot at fantasy relevance this season likely requires a trade to a new team willing to give him a fresh start.
